Nickel-iron is a nickel-iron alloy with a nickel content of 20%-60%, a melting point of 1430-1480 degrees, a density of 8.1-8.4, a main component of nickel and iron, and a small amount of cobalt. It has good bending strength and hardness in mechanical properties, and because of its low resistivity and high resistance temperature coefficient, it is commonly used as a heating resistor, which is used in heating elements and thermal protectors.
